Business and Media Update

Exciting night in the Business League.  Marina Sales (5-1) battled back from a 7-3 hole to knock off previously unbeaten Shinberg Consulting (5-1) 8 to 7.  These teams are so evenly matched they have the exact same pincount through 6 games.  That leaves Drummond Woodsum (5-0) as the sole undefeated squad after they cruised to 14-1 win over PDT Architects (0-6).  Verrill Dana (3-2) got a big win over VIA (3-2) to stay in the race for the top half.  Finally, Maine Health (2-3) shutout Horny Toad (1-4) 15 to 0.

Over on the Media side the two undefeated teams battled, and once again FOX (6-0) emerged victorious.  Media Mix (5-1) jumped out to 4-1 lead but were shut out the rest of the way.  WGME 1 (5-1) stayed in the hunt by extending expansion squad I’m Ron Burgundy’s (0-6) losing streak to 6.  WCSH (3-3) got to .500 with a 10-5 win over Portland Phoenix (1-5).  Press Herald (2-4) picked up a big victory over 2010 champs WJAB (2-4) who are struggling to recapture their mojo.

As always a reminder about picking up random ringers on the night of the game – please don’t do it.  If you only have three you can bowl with three.  I will be around for all playoff games to make sure the rosters are your real rosters.  Good luck the rest of the way, the races are heating up.
