Last Week B Lines

My Balls (-4) v The Pinups – Congrats to My Balls for clinching a spot in the “B Tournament”. They certainly earned it on the lanes, and will be a very tough competitor in the tourney. Now they look to take billing in Tuesday B with a victory over the Pinups. It would take a tall order from the Pinups tonight to take down the mighty Balls, but that’s why you play the game. At the end of the day My Balls gets the job done, and finish as number one in the most competitive division in Bowl Portland.

Budweisers (-6) v NED – Congrats also to the Buds. While it looks like it may be a second place finish in the division, they will be heading to the “B Tournament”. It has been a fantastic season for the beer boy and girls, truly finding the consistency that may eventually give them another shot at the A league. They finish the season against the very disappointing NED. One year removed from winning the division, NED never seemed to find their footing, and will be just warming up for the Shootout.

Whoomp (-2) v 3 Livers – The Livers have a chance to get out of the basement for the first time this season with a win tonight. They are just one game behind Whoomp, and just so happen to play them tonight. But a slight edge has to go to the Tag Team fanatics, who have been a more consistent team this year. this one will go three, but Whoomp does enough to stay about the Livers in the standings.

Splits Happen (-2) v Wrecking Balls – It has been a solid year for Splits. They were competitive right up until the end, just missing out on a playoff spot. Meanwhile, The Wrecking Balls are hoping to remain above .500 with a victory tonight. The Balls could also improve their shootout ranking with a win and a little help from others. Expect a tight one here tonight, but Splits will edge them out in the end.

Bowl Trolls (-1) v Strikes on Tap – The winner finishes above .500. The loser does not. So, this is certainly a big one tonight. The Trolls are having a great first year, and certainly want to finish off the regular season the right way. Strikes hope to get back to form following a tough loss last week. This one could be the closest match of the night.I like it going three, with a slight edge to the Trolls and their depth.

BILF (-15) v Incredibowls – While nothing is really on the line, the rivalry will be renewed. Dating all the way back to Media League in 2010, these two squads have had some battles. Some have been dramatic, while others just down right pathetic. Both teams have been disappointing this year, but whomever pulls down the W tonight at least has some bragging rights. It’s difficult for me to see the BILF win a tight game, so I just will assume they win 15-0. Eat it, Incredibowls.
